Privacy Policy

Billfold: Invoice Maker · Swifty Solutions Company Limited

The short version: Billfold works entirely on your phone. Your business details, clients, invoices, payments and the PDFs you create live in the App's private database on your device and are shared only when you choose to share a PDF or a backup file. There is no account, no server of ours and no ads in the App. To fix crashes and understand which features are used, the App sends anonymous crash reports and usage events to Google Firebase. These never include your invoices, clients, amounts or anything you type.

This Privacy Policy explains how Swifty Solutions Company Limited ("Swifty Solutions", "we", "us" or "our") handles information in connection with the Billfold: Invoice Maker mobile application (the "App"), available on Google Play for Android.

Effective date: October 8, 2026

1. No Account, No Personal Information

The App does not have accounts. There is no sign-up, no login and no social sign-in.

  • We do not collect your name, email address, phone number or any other personal information.
  • The App does not ask for, and we do not collect, any information that identifies you by name. The anonymous identifiers used by Firebase are described below.
  • We do not collect your location. The App never asks for location permission.
  • We do not build a user profile and have no way to link anything in the App to you as a person.

2. Your Business Data

Your business profile (including a logo or signature image you add), clients, items, invoices, estimates, payments and expenses are stored in a local database inside the App's private storage. They are never uploaded and never shared with us or anyone else. We cannot see them and have no way to recover them for you.

3. Sharing PDFs and Backups

When you tap Share, Email or Print, the App hands the PDF (or the backup file) to the Android share sheet or print service and the app you pick. From that moment the file is handled by that app under its own terms. The App itself does not send anything.

4. Photos and Files

If you add a logo, signature or receipt photo, the App reads the single image you pick through Android's picker. If you import a backup, it reads the single file you pick. The App has no broad access to your photos or files.

Information Stored on Your Device

The following is created while you use the App and is stored locally on your device only. It is not uploaded to, or retained by, any server operated by Swifty Solutions - we do not operate one for this App.

Stored locally on your device:

  • Business profile: name, address, contact details, tax ID, logo, signature, payment instructions.
  • Clients, items, invoices, estimates, payments, expenses and their line items.
  • Settings: currency, numbering, tax defaults, template and colour.
  • Purchase state: whether Pro is active on this device.

If you have Android backup enabled, Android may include the App's data in your Google account backup under Google's terms. That backup belongs to you, not to us, and we cannot access it.

What Is Transmitted

The App works offline and has no backend of ours. When a connection is available, the App communicates with:

  • Google Play, for in-app purchases and for opening links you tap, such as this Privacy Policy.
  • Firebase Crashlytics (Google), which receives a crash report if the App crashes: the stack trace, App version, device model, Android version and an anonymous installation identifier.
  • Google Analytics for Firebase (Google), which receives a small set of usage events, described in the next section.
  • Telegram, which we use as a private notification channel for our own team (see "Developer Notifications" below).

Analytics and Advertising Measurement

The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how people use the App and to measure whether our advertising works. It records only these events: a document (invoice or estimate) was created, a PDF was shared, emailed or printed, the Pro screen was opened, and a free trial or purchase started. Each event carries only a short label such as "invoice", "email" or "weekly".

Events never include invoice or estimate contents, client or business details, item names, amounts, notes, images or anything you type. Together with each event, Firebase records an anonymous App-instance identifier, the device's advertising ID (where Android allows it), the device model, Android version, App version, language and approximate country derived from the network.

We use this information to improve the App and, through Google Ads, to see which ad campaigns lead to people installing and using the App. We do not show ads in the App and we do not sell your data. Google processes this data under the Google Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy terms.

You can limit this at any time: in Android Settings, delete or reset your advertising ID (Settings › Privacy › Ads) and the App stops sending it. Uninstalling the App deletes the App-instance identifier. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months, and crash reports for up to 90 days.

Developer Notifications

To keep an eye on the App's health and sales, the App sends short notifications to private Telegram groups that only our team can read, through a Telegram bot. A notification is sent when the App is opened, when the first invoice or estimate is created, when the Pro screen is opened, when a purchase succeeds, fails or is cancelled, and when the App hits an unexpected error.

Each notification contains only: the event, the App version, a random installation ID generated by the App (not linked to your Google account or advertising ID), the country setting of your device, the device model and Android version, how many times the App has been opened, how many documents have been created, and, for purchases, the product and its price. It never contains invoice or estimate contents, client or business details, amounts on your documents or anything you type. Telegram processes these messages under the Telegram Privacy Policy; we delete old notifications periodically.

In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)

Pro is sold through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment and holds your payment details; we never see your card number or billing address. Google provides us with anonymised transaction records (an order number, the product bought and the date) so that we can honour your purchase and handle refunds. Google's handling of your data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The anonymous diagnostics and usage events described above are not linked to anyone's identity.

Your Rights

Your business data is only on your device: delete it in the App or uninstall the App to remove it. The analytics and crash data described above are anonymous and we cannot link them to you, but if you would like them deleted, email us the approximate date you used the App and we will ask Google to delete the data for our project. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, and you can contact us to exercise them.

How to Delete Your Data (Billfold: Invoice Maker)

Your invoices, clients and business data exist only on your device. To delete them, remove them in the App, or uninstall Billfold, which deletes all of the App's local data immediately. We never had a copy.

Analytics, crash data and developer notifications held by Google Firebase and in our Telegram groups for Billfold can be deleted on request:

  1. Email contact@swifty-solutions.com with the subject "Billfold data deletion request".
  2. Tell us the approximate dates you used Billfold and your device model, so we can find the anonymous records. Your country helps too.
  3. We delete the matching Analytics and Crashlytics data for the Billfold project within 30 days and reply to confirm.

Data that is deleted: usage events, crash reports and the matching developer notifications. Data that is kept: nothing about you; Google Play keeps its own purchase records under the Google Privacy Policy. If you do not ask, Analytics data is deleted automatically after 14 months and crash reports after 90 days.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change how the App handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above, and the App's store listing and data-safety form will be updated to match before the change ships.
