Privacy Policy

Snapsweep Photo Cleaner · Swifty Solutions Company Limited

The short version: Snapsweep works entirely on your device. There is no account, no sign-up and no server. Your photos, videos, contacts and calendar events are read on the device only, to find items you might want to delete, and nothing is ever uploaded. The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising and no tracking, and we collect no data at all. Its App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

This Privacy Policy explains how Swifty Solutions Company Limited ("Swifty Solutions", "we", "us" or "our") handles information in connection with the Snapsweep Photo Cleaner mobile application and its widget (the "App"), available on iOS.

Effective date: September 18, 2026

1. No Account, No Identity Data

The App does not have accounts. There is no sign-up, no login, no email verification and no social sign-in. You can install the App and start a scan immediately.

  • We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address or any other personal information.
  • We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA) and we do not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission.
  • We do not collect your location. The App never asks for location permission.
  • We do not build a user profile, and we have no way to link anything in the App to you as a person.

2. Your Photo Library

After onboarding, the App asks for access to your photo library. This permission is what lets the App do its job, and everything it does with that access happens on your device.

  • The App reads your photos and videos to group similar shots, detect exact duplicates, identify screenshots and Live Photos, measure sharpness for blur detection, and list large videos by size.
  • All of that analysis runs locally, using Apple's Photos and imaging frameworks on your device. No photo, video, thumbnail or derived fingerprint is ever uploaded, transmitted or shared with us or anyone else.
  • We never see your photos. We have no server to receive them.
  • When you confirm a deletion, the App asks iOS to delete those items. They go to the system Recently Deleted album in the Photos app, where they remain recoverable for 30 days under Apple's control.
  • The App stores a local cache of scan results - identifiers, sizes, dates and the groupings it computed - so reopening the App is instant. That cache lives on your device only and is removed when you uninstall the App.
  • You can change or revoke photo access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos. Without it, the App cannot scan.

3. Contacts (Optional)

The contacts cleaner is optional and the rest of the App works without it. Access to your contacts is requested only when you open Tools → Clean up contacts.

  • Your contacts are read on the device to find duplicate entries and entries with no name or no number.
  • Merges and deletions are written back to the system Contacts database on your device only, and only after you confirm them.
  • Contact data is never uploaded, never stored outside the system Contacts database, and never used for anything other than showing you the cleanup suggestions.
  • You can revoke contacts access in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Contacts.

4. Calendar (Optional)

The calendar spam cleaner is optional. Access to your calendars is requested only when you open Tools → Calendar cleanup.

  • Your events and subscribed calendars are read on the device so the App can show you spam invitations and the subscribed calendars that send them.
  • Removals happen in the system Calendar database on your device, after you confirm them.
  • Calendar data is never uploaded and never leaves your device. You can revoke calendar access in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars.

5. Video Compression

The video compressor re-encodes clips you select using Apple's AVFoundation framework on your device. The compressed copy is written back to your photo library, and the App then offers the original for deletion - which, as always, you confirm yourself and which goes through Recently Deleted. No video is uploaded for processing; there is no cloud encoder involved.

6. Information Stored on Your Device

The following is created while you use the App and is stored locally on your device only. It is not uploaded to, or retained by, any server operated by Swifty Solutions - we do not operate one for this App.

Stored locally on your device:

  • Scan cache: the identifiers, sizes, dates and groupings computed during a scan, so a rescan only has to look at what is new.
  • Deletion count: how many items you have deleted, used to apply the free tier's limit.
  • Widget snapshot: used and free storage plus the amount Snapsweep estimates it can reclaim, written after each scan so the Home Screen widget can display it.
  • App settings: language, blur threshold, compression preferences and whether Premium is active.

The widget snapshot and settings live in an App Group container on your device that is shared only between the App and its own widget. No other app can read it. If you have iCloud Backup or another device backup enabled, iOS may include the App's data in that backup under your own Apple ID and under Apple's terms. That backup belongs to you, not to us, and we cannot access it.

7. Nothing Is Transmitted

The App works offline and has no backend. It does not send your photos, videos, contacts, calendar events, scan results or settings anywhere. The only network activity the App performs is the communication between your device and Apple that is required for in-app purchases (see Section 9) and for opening links you tap, such as this Privacy Policy.

8. No Analytics, No Advertising, No Tracking

  • The App contains no analytics SDK and no third-party crash-reporting SDK.
  • The App shows no advertising and contains no ad networks.
  • We do not track you across other apps or websites.
  • We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with data brokers - there is nothing to share.

Because there is no account and no analytics, we have no way to identify you, contact you, or see how you use the App.

9. Purchases and Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed entirely by the Apple App Store using Apple's StoreKit framework. Your payment is made to Apple, not to us.

  • We never see or receive your card number, bank details, billing address or Apple ID.
  • The App only checks, on your device and through Apple, whether an active subscription or lifetime purchase exists, in order to unlock Premium features.
  • Purchases are subject to Apple's own privacy policy and terms: apple.com/legal/privacy.

Premium pricing

PlanPrice (USD)Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (or before the free trial ends), and are managed in your App Store account settings (iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Prices vary by region. Full details are in our Terms of Use.

10. Retention and Deletion

  • The scan cache, widget snapshot and settings remain on your device until you remove them.
  • Uninstalling the App removes the App's local data, including the shared widget container, from your device.
  • Deletion is immediate and permanent. Because we hold no copy on a server, we could not recover anything even if you asked.
  • Photos and videos you deleted through the App are held by iOS in Recently Deleted for 30 days and can be restored there; after that, Apple removes them permanently.
  • Contacts and calendar changes you confirmed are managed through the system Contacts and Calendar apps.

11. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children; the App collects no data at all. Because the App deletes photos, it should not be used unsupervised by a child on a shared device.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA/CPRA) or similar laws, including rights of access, correction, deletion, portability and objection.

Because the App is designed so that all data stays on your device and we hold no copy, you exercise these rights directly through the App and through iOS:

  • Access: your photos, contacts and calendars remain in the system apps they came from and are fully under your control.
  • Correction and deletion: change or delete items in the App, in Photos, Contacts and Calendar, or uninstall the App.
  • Restriction: revoke the photo, contacts or calendar permission in iOS Settings at any time.
  • Objection: since no personal data is processed by us, there is nothing for us to restrict or stop processing.

We have no means of identifying you and therefore cannot look up, export or delete data on your behalf. If you have questions about these rights, contact us at contact@swifty-solutions.com.

Under the CCPA/CPRA we confirm that we do not sell and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

13. App Store Privacy Label

In line with the practices described above, the App's privacy details on the App Store are declared as "Data Not Collected": the developer does not collect any data from this app. If a future version of the App ever changes this, we will update both the App Store label and this Privacy Policy before that version is released.

14. Security

  • Your photos, contacts and calendar events stay in the system databases they came from, protected by your device's own protections - passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, and iOS file encryption.
  • The App's own scan cache and settings live in its private App Group container.
  • Because the App transmits nothing, there is no data in transit for anyone to intercept.

No method of storage is completely secure, and a lost, shared, unlocked or compromised device may expose its content to others.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if the App gains new features. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top and bottom of this page and, where the change is material, provide notice in the App or on the App Store listing. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
