Frequently asked questions

Where are my exported collages?

Open your gallery or Google Photos and look for the Gridly album (under Pictures/Gridly on most devices). You can also tap Share right after exporting.

How do I swap two photos?

Long-press a photo and drag it onto another cell. To replace a photo, tap it and choose Replace.

How do I zoom or move a photo inside its cell?

Pinch to zoom and drag to pan inside the cell. The photo always keeps the cell covered. Tap the cell and choose Reset zoom to start over.

Can I add more than 4 photos?

Templates for 5 to 9 photos and freestyle with more than 4 photos are part of Pro.

Why is the export a PNG and quite large?

Gridly exports lossless PNG so nothing is degraded. A 4096 px export can be 20 MB or more; use 2048 px for social posts, which is plenty.

Does the App upload my photos?

No. Photos are copied into the App's private storage on your phone only, and nothing is transmitted. See the Privacy Policy.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Google Play, not inside the App. Open the Play Store app, tap your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, choose Gridly and tap Cancel subscription. To avoid being charged after the 3-day free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. You keep Pro until the end of the current period. Uninstalling the App does not cancel the subscription.

I bought Pro but the App still shows the free limits.

Make sure the device is signed in to the same Google account you used to buy Pro, then go to Settings → Restore purchases. If a purchase is still "pending" with Google, Pro unlocks automatically once it clears.

How do I get a refund?

Google processes every payment, so refunds go through Google Play: request a refund. We cannot issue refunds ourselves, but email us if you need help with a request.

Does the App upload my data?

No. Gridly has no server and no account. Everything stays on your phone. See the Privacy Policy.

How do I report a bug?

Please email us with what you were doing, what happened, and your phone model and Android version. A screenshot or screen recording helps a lot. We read every report.
