Cueline: Teleprompter & Camera · Swifty Solutions Company Limited
Open a script, tap Prompt, then use the Speed slider or the − / + buttons while it runs. The number is pixels per second; most people read comfortably between 40 and 90 with the default text size. The speed you set is remembered for every script.
Use the Size slider on the prompter, or tap the sliders icon at the top right for line spacing, alignment, bold and the colour theme.
Tap the text once to pause or show the controls. Drag the text with your finger to move anywhere in the script (this pauses scrolling). The ↑↑ button jumps back five lines; the circular arrow restarts from the top. The App also remembers where you stopped and resumes there the next time you open the script.
Tap Record on a script. The camera preview fills the screen and the script scrolls in a panel at the top, right under the lens, so you can read while looking at the camera. The text is only on your screen; it is never recorded into the video. Tap the red button to start and stop. Videos are saved to your gallery in a Cueline album.
Open your gallery or Google Photos and look for the Cueline album (on most devices it is under Pictures/Cueline). If the App showed "could not save to the gallery", the device refused the write; free up storage and try again. You can also tap Share on the sheet that appears right after recording.
Beam-splitter teleprompter rigs reflect the phone's screen in a piece of glass in front of the camera lens, which flips the image. Turn on Mirror horizontally (and vertically if your rig needs it) in the prompter options so the reflection reads correctly. Mirror mode is a Pro feature.
Free includes the full prompter, the camera, up to 3 scripts and recordings up to 60 seconds. Pro unlocks unlimited scripts, unlimited recording length, mirror mode and importing .txt / .md files. Pro is available as a weekly subscription with a 3-day free trial, a yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the App.
Subscriptions are managed by Google Play, not inside the App. Open the Play Store app, tap your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, choose Cueline and tap Cancel subscription. To avoid being charged after the 3-day free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. You keep Pro until the end of the current period. Uninstalling the App does not cancel the subscription. Google's guide: support.google.com.
Make sure the device is signed in to the same Google account you used to buy Pro, then go to Settings → Restore purchases. If a purchase is still "pending" with Google (some payment methods take a while), Pro unlocks automatically once it clears.
Google processes every payment, so refunds go through Google Play: request a refund. We cannot issue refunds ourselves, but email us if you need help with a request.
No. Cueline has no server and no account. Scripts live in the App's private storage, videos go to your own gallery, and nothing is transmitted. See the Privacy Policy.
Open Android Settings → Apps → Cueline → Permissions and allow Camera and Microphone, then open the Record screen again.
Yes. The prompter screen rotates with your phone, which suits most rigs and tablet stands. The script list and editor stay in portrait.
Please email us with what you were doing, what happened, and your phone model and Android version. A screenshot or screen recording helps a lot. We read every report.
