The short version: Cueline works entirely on your phone. There is no account, no sign-up and no server. Your scripts stay on your device, the camera and microphone are used only while you are on the Record screen, and the videos you record are saved to your own gallery. The App contains no analytics SDK, no advertising and no tracking, and we collect no data at all.

This Privacy Policy explains how Swifty Solutions Company Limited ("Swifty Solutions", "we", "us" or "our") handles information in connection with the Cueline: Teleprompter & Camera mobile application (the "App"), available on Google Play for Android.

Effective date: October 2, 2026

1. No Account, No Identity Data

The App does not have accounts. There is no sign-up, no login and no social sign-in. You can install the App and start writing a script immediately.

  • We do not collect your name, email address, phone number or any other personal information.
  • We do not collect the advertising ID or any other device identifier.
  • We do not collect your location. The App never asks for location permission.
  • We do not build a user profile and have no way to link anything in the App to you as a person.

2. Your Scripts

Scripts you write, paste or import are stored in a file inside the App's private storage on your device. They are never uploaded, never synced and never shared with us or anyone else. Deleting a script in the App removes it from that file; uninstalling the App removes the file.

3. Camera and Microphone

The App asks for camera and microphone permission only when you open the Record screen. Both are used solely to record the video you asked for, on your device, using Android's own camera and media encoder.

  • The live camera preview and the audio from the microphone are not transmitted anywhere. There is no streaming, no cloud processing and no server.
  • The script text shown over the preview is only drawn on your screen. It is not recorded into the video.
  • When you stop recording, the video is written to your device's media library in a Cueline album, under your control like any other video on your phone. The App keeps no copy of it.
  • You can revoke camera or microphone access at any time in Android Settings → Apps → Cueline → Permissions. Without them, the Record screen cannot work, but the prompter itself still does.

4. Importing Files

If you import a .txt or .md file, the App reads that single file you picked through Android's file picker and copies its text into a new script. The App has no broad access to your files and does not read anything you did not pick.

5. Information Stored on Your Device

The following is created while you use the App and is stored locally on your device only. It is not uploaded to, or retained by, any server operated by Swifty Solutions - we do not operate one for this App.

Stored locally on your device:

  • Scripts: title, text, timestamps and where you stopped reading.
  • Prompter settings: speed, text size, theme, mirror, countdown and camera-panel preferences.
  • Purchase state: whether Pro is active on this device.

If you have Android backup enabled, Android may include the App's data in your Google account backup under Google's terms. That backup belongs to you, not to us, and we cannot access it.

6. Nothing Is Transmitted

The App works offline and has no backend. It does not send your scripts, recordings, settings or usage anywhere. The only network activity is the communication between your device and Google Play that is required for in-app purchases (see Section 8) and for opening links you tap, such as this Privacy Policy.

7. No Analytics, No Advertising, No Tracking

The App contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising SDK and no tracking of any kind. We do not know how many people use the App, how often, or what they do in it, beyond the aggregate install and sales statistics Google Play shows to every developer.

8. In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)

Pro is sold through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment and holds your payment details; we never see your card number or billing address. Google provides us with anonymised transaction records (an order number, the product bought and the date) so that we can honour your purchase and handle refunds. Google's handling of your data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

9. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children. Because the App collects no data, there is nothing for a parent to request or delete from us.

10. Your Rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or erase. Everything is on your device: delete a script in the App, remove a video from your gallery, or uninstall the App to remove all of its data. If you believe we hold something about you, email us and we will respond.

11. Security

Your data is protected by your device's own security: the App's private storage is isolated by Android, and your recordings are protected by your lock screen and whatever backup settings you choose.

12. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change how the App handles data, we will update this page and the effective date above, and the App's store listing and data-safety form will be updated to match before the change ships.
