Pitchly
An accurate tuner and a rock-solid metronome in one small, offline app.
Pitchly listens through your phone's microphone and shows the note, the octave and how many cents you are off on a clear needle gauge. Pick an instrument preset to see its strings, then practise with a metronome that never drifts. Everything runs on your phone, with no account and no internet connection.
Tuner
- Chromatic detection with a needle gauge, cents readout and frequency in Hz.
- In-tune indicator within ±5 cents, with a gentle haptic tick.
- Instrument presets: guitar (standard, Drop D, DADGAD, Open G, half-step down), bass, ukulele, violin, viola, cello, mandolin, banjo, plus custom tunings.
- Reference pitch 415 to 466 Hz, sharps or flats, transposition for B♭, E♭ and F instruments.
Metronome
- 20 to 300 BPM with a big dial, fine buttons and tap tempo.
- Time signatures from 1/4 to 7/8 plus 6/8 and 12/8, accent on beat one, four subdivisions.
- Click, woodblock or beep, a swinging pendulum and beat dots, screen stays awake.
- Trainer: speed up every few bars or mute random bars to test your inner clock.
Tones
- Play any note as a sine or a piano-like tone to tune by ear.
- Tuning history with a chart of your last readings.
