Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not inside the App. Open iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, choose FitTimer and tap Cancel Subscription. To avoid being charged after the 3-day free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. You keep Premium until the end of the current period. Deleting the App does not cancel the subscription. Apple's step-by-step guide: support.apple.com/HT202039.
Make sure the device is signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy Premium, then go to Settings → Premium → Restore Purchases (the button is also on the Premium screen). Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are both restored this way. If nothing is restored, check your Apple purchase history to confirm which Apple ID the purchase belongs to.
Because Apple processes every payment, refunds are also handled by Apple. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the FitTimer purchase and choose "Request a refund". We are not able to issue refunds ourselves.
Widgets are a Premium feature, and each one shows only what you have chosen for it. First add the widget: long-press your Home or Lock Screen, tap + (or Customize on the Lock Screen), search for FitTimer and pick Quick Start, Today's Habits or Streak in the size you want. Then open the App and go to Settings → Widget configuration (or tap Set up widgets on the Timers tab) and choose the timers or habits to show for that widget size. Widgets refresh whenever you change something in the App; if one still looks stale, remove it and add it again, or restart your iPhone - iOS occasionally throttles widget refreshes.
FitTimer plays alerts, ticking and voice through the media audio channel, so they do play with the ring/silent switch off and mix with your music. If you hear nothing, check that the media volume is up (press the volume buttons while a timer is running), that Settings → Sounds → Mute all sounds is off, that the in-run mute button is not active, and that the timer itself has an alert sound other than "None". Use Test sound in Settings to confirm. With Bluetooth headphones connected, the sound goes to the headphones.
Go to Settings → Apple Health and turn on Save workouts to Health. iOS will ask you to allow FitTimer to write workouts; tap Allow. From then on, every timer you run to the end is saved as a workout with the activity type set in the timer's editor. FitTimer never reads anything from Health. If the permission dialog never appeared or you declined it, open the Health app → your profile → Apps & Services → FitTimer and turn on Workouts.
Go to Settings → Backup → Export backup. The App creates a JSON file containing your timers, habits, check-ins, workout history and settings, and opens the iOS share sheet so you can save it to Files, AirDrop it or email it to yourself. On the other device, install FitTimer, then use Settings → Backup → Restore backup and pick the file. Restoring merges the backup into that device's data (items with the same ID are updated, not duplicated). Nothing is uploaded to us at any point.
Go to Settings → Language and pick one of the 14 supported languages. The interface, widgets and voice announcements switch immediately. Voice announcements use the iOS speech voice for that language; if a voice sounds low-quality, download an enhanced one in iOS Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices.
FitTimer keeps running with the screen locked and shows the current interval as a Live Activity. If alerts arrive late, make sure notifications are allowed for FitTimer in iOS Settings, that Low Power Mode is off, and that a Focus mode is not silencing the App. Force-quitting the App from the app switcher stops the timer.
The free version includes every template and preset, up to 2 custom timers, up to 3 habits and the core sounds (Beep, Double Beep and Classic ticking). Premium unlocks unlimited custom timers and habits, all Home and Lock Screen widgets, and all 8 alert sounds and 4 ticking sounds. Premium is offered as a weekly subscription with a 3-day free trial, a yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase.
Timers, habits and history entries can be deleted individually inside the App. Uninstalling the App removes all of its data from your device, including what the widgets use. Workouts you saved to Apple Health stay in the Health app until you delete them there. Export a backup first if you may want the data back - we hold no copy.
Please email us with what you were doing, what happened, and your iPhone model and iOS version. A screenshot or screen recording helps a lot. We read every report.
